It’s so annoying how badly nvidia tests jetpack. Yesterday I finally broke my jetson and decided to reflash it from scratch. After an hour the fresh jetpack couldn’t launch chrome or any other browser. After a couple hours chatting with chat gpt and claude, all I got was installing chrome from flatpak.
This morning I decided to try gemini + deep research and it was straight 🔥. The problem is in snap and the simplest way to fix it is to roll snap back one version. This is already the second time when a really basic use case breaks in jetpack and gets fixed by just rolling back versions.
