After about a week of digging into ROS2 as a framework and ecosystem I gave up and put it aside for now. I’m honestly surprised how this became an industry standard. I tried to separate my feelings of rejecting something new from the real struggles beginners have when learning ROS2.
It’s so clunky and boilerplate-heavy it makes you feel sick. Sure, the ecosystem, contracts, approaches blah blah blah. But I don’t see a single reason to use it except for learning or adding a line to your resume.
